Gokyo Ri 02 Jobo Rinjang And Lunag Massif Near Nangpa La From Gokyo Ri Looking West  [4 of 29]

The weather remained clear in the afternoon in 2008 so I climbed to Gokyo Ri, arriving just before sunset. I looked to the west from Gokyo Ri and saw Jobo Rinjang (6778m). Joe Puryear and David Gottlieb completed the first ascent of Jobo Rinjang (6778m, also called Lunag Ri) via the direct south face alpine style on April 22, 2009. Jobo Rinjang is the pyramidal point at the confluence of the Nangpa La Glacier coming down north from Nangpa La and the Lunag Glacier. The Lunag massif has six peaks ranging from 6492m to 6895m.
